Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with On-Call Requirements | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform General Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology procedures in a hospital-based nuclear medicine unit
• Operate GE Nuclear Camera and Xeleris imaging systems to acquire and process diagnostic images
• Perform IV insertions and radiopharmacy duties as required by the unit
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately within the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and all applicable regulatory standards throughout all procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the department

Required Qualifications

• Active national certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through NMTCB or ARRT (N)
• Minimum of 2–3 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• Proficiency with IV insertion techniques
• Experience with radiopharmacy preparation and handling
• Ability to work a day shift schedule with on-call availability

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3–5 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in a hospital setting
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
• Prior experience with GE Nuclear Camera and Xeleris workstation platforms
