Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with On-Call Requirements | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform General Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology procedures in a hospital-based nuclear medicine unit
- Operate GE Nuclear Camera and Xeleris imaging systems to acquire and process diagnostic images
- Perform IV insertions and radiopharmacy duties as required by the unit
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately within the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and all applicable regulatory standards throughout all procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation as required by the department
Required Qualifications
- Active national certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through NMTCB or ARRT (N)
- Minimum of 2–3 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- Proficiency with IV insertion techniques
- Experience with radiopharmacy preparation and handling
- Ability to work a day shift schedule with on-call availability
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3–5 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
- Prior experience with GE Nuclear Camera and Xeleris workstation platforms
