Medical Lab Technician – Transfusion Services (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | Thursday – Sunday, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform type and screens and crossmatches in a transfusion services laboratory setting
- Conduct simple and complex antibody identifications
- Perform component modifications including syringe preparations and aliquots
- Apply basic blood bank skills to support daily laboratory operations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Lab Technician or Medical Technologist
- Basic blood bank skills required
- Ability to work a night shift schedule, Thursday through Sunday
- Compliance with facility dress code: black scrub bottoms and olive green scrub top
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior blood bank or transfusion services experience
- Experience with Meditech laboratory information system
- Familiarity with Ortho manual gel, ProVue, or Vision platforms
