Registered Nurse – ICU / Rapid Response (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 6-Week Assignment | 48 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-operative assessments and care for surgical patients on a 24-bed Med/Surg unit
- Deliver specialized post-operative care including post-prostatectomy and post-hysterectomy patients
- Manage continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) and Foley catheter maintenance
- Administer and monitor pain management therapies including PCAs and epidurals
- Collaborate with a night shift team consisting of a charge nurse, staff nurses, and patient care technicians
- Document and manage patient care using the Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification (must be included in submission packet)
- Current ACLS certification (must be included in submission packet)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be included in submission packet)
- Med/Surg and/or post-operative nursing experience
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in GYN/Oncology nursing
- Urology nursing experience
- Team-oriented, compassionate, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
