Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a surgical first assistant in the operating room under the direction of the surgeon
• Assist with surgical procedures including tissue handling, hemostasis, wound closure, and retraction
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field in accordance with established surgical protocols
• Anticipate surgeon needs and respond appropriately throughout all phases of the surgical procedure
• Collaborate with the OR team to ensure patient safety and efficient case flow

Required Qualifications

• Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
• Certified as an ORT or credentialed First Assist (CST/CFA or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a surgical technologist or first assist
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work within a fast-paced operating room environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience in a surgical or OR setting
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties
