Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:15 AM – 6:45 PM) | Monday–Friday with on-call and weekend call requirements per unit policy

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases
• Assist with cardiac and thoracic procedures as the primary case focus
• Support vascular procedures including open and endovascular cases
• Participate in transplant procedures (liver, kidney, pancreas) and pancreatic (Whipple) procedures as needed
• Fulfill on-call obligations including weekday and weekend call shifts as determined by unit needs on a 6-week schedule basis
• Float within the cardiovascular service line to meet facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Missouri or compact license; pending Missouri license considered at time of submittal)
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience; 1 year may be considered with Level 1 Trauma Facility background
• Demonstrated scrub and circulator experience in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification (required by compliance deadline)
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma or large acute care teaching facility
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
