Interventional Radiology Technologist – IR/Special Procedures (Neuro Experience Preferred)

Contract | Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week | Day Shift (8-Hour or 10-Hour Shifts) | 13-Week Assignment | On-Call Required | No Routine Weekend Rotation (On-Call Weekends Apply)
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub in with interventional radiology physicians for complex IR procedures including Thrombectomies, Pulmonary Embolisms, UFE, and Y90
- Assist with neuro interventional procedures requiring specialized neuro IR experience
- Participate in on-call rotation covering neuro and IR body cases, including up to 9 call days per month within a 4-week schedule
- Adhere to call-back time requirements of 30 minutes for neuro cases and 45 minutes for IR body cases
- Maintain patient safety and procedural standards throughout all interventional radiology procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience
- Active Illinois IEMA license
- Current ARRT certification
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to scrub in for complex IR procedures
- Travel experience in a similar IR technologist role
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neuro interventional radiology experience — please highlight on submission
- Familiarity with neuro thrombectomy and related neuro IR procedures
- Experience working within high-volume or academic interventional radiology environments
