Travel – Mental Health Technician (Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support within a psychiatric/behavioral health unit under the direction of nursing and clinical staff
• Monitor patient behavior and safety, reporting changes in condition or concerns to the appropriate clinical team members
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and therapeutic programming as directed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient observations and interactions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support individualized treatment plans

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mental Health Technician or Behavioral Health Technician
• Experience working in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Current and valid relevant certification or credentials as required by state and facility standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel healthcare experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health environment
• Familiarity with de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention in an inpatient setting
