- Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide postpartum and mother/baby care in a hospital setting.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage perineal care.
- Educate new parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding.
- Collaborate with medical staff and providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain documentation within the electronic medical record system (Meditech/CPN).
- Adapt quickly to unit policies, new equipment, and workflow changes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital experience in Postpartum/Mother/Baby units.
- Valid BLS certification.
- NRP certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Mother/Baby Unit.
- Flexibility with scheduling and the ability to adapt to new environments.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, team-oriented personality.
