Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Every third weekend required (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sterile processing functions within a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center environment
- Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment
- Maintain compliance with sterile processing standards and infection control protocols
- Accurately document processing activities using Epic charting system
- Work every third weekend as part of the regular schedule
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of travel experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
- Valid Allied license or certification in hand at time of submission
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
- Ability to work a consistent day shift schedule including rotating weekends
- Must meet all compliance documentation requirements prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a surgical services or perioperative setting
- Familiarity with Level III Trauma Center environments and associated instrument processing demands
- Demonstrated ability to float to sister facilities as operationally needed
