Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
- Manage patients presenting with respiratory distress/failure, DKA, seizures, and pain management needs
- Perform and assist with special procedures including moderate sedation, drips, arterial lines, and central lines/CVP monitoring
- Float to NICU and Pediatrics units as needed within scope of practice
- Complete required facility orientation modules virtually on the first day of contract
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of PICU nursing experience
- Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Professional references required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with NICU and general Pediatrics patient populations
