Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in an intensive care unit setting, including patients up to 25 years of age
• Monitor and manage patients requiring epilepsy monitoring and specialized neurological care
• Administer and monitor inotropes and perform EKG interpretation
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments as required during orientation
• Rotate holiday coverage, working at minimum every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in PICU or applicable specialty
• Minimum 18 months of recent Pediatric nursing experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (no pending certifications)
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from assignments within the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience concentrated within a single facility preferred, though combined experience across locations is considered
