Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | Friday – Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Heavy Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Operate ultrasound equipment utilizing sound waves to create diagnostic images of the body's internal structures
- Produce accurate images of bones, organs, and tissues and combine findings to support clinical assessments
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio while performing a high volume of ultrasound studies
- Work with GE imaging equipment including the Discovery 450, as well as X-Ray, MRI, and CT modalities in a multi-scanner environment
- Document and manage patient data using Meditech EMR
- Work independently on night shifts, including weekends, with the ability to respond to call requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active BLS certification
- RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) credential required
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Ability to work independently, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and manage heavy call responsibilities
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification (preferred but not required)
- Experience in an acute care or teaching hospital setting
- Strong critical thinking skills with a flexible and adaptable work style
