Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: July 6, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with 13 beds plus 2 triage bays and 2 operating rooms
- Manage patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on census and acuity
- Assist with and support inductions, cesarean sections, and TOLAC (Trial of Labor After Cesarean)
- Operate GE Electronic Fetal Monitors (EFMs) and document accurately within CPN and Meditech EMR systems
- Fulfill weekend shift commitments (4 per schedule) and on-call obligations (1 shift per schedule)
- Adhere to unit dress code requirements (royal blue scrubs)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Scrub capability for operative procedures
- Prior charge nurse experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
- Upbeat, positive attitude with strong team collaboration skills
