Travel MRI Technologist

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Saturday–Monday, 7:00 AM–8:30 PM | On-call 1–2 days per month | Holiday rotation required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations including neuro exams (MRAs, MRIs of the head, neck, and spine), abdominal exams (MRCPs, MRAs, MRIs of the aorta, liver, and kidneys), and MSK exams (extremities and arthrograms)
- Operate and maintain GE Explorer Lift Signa 1.5T MRI equipment in accordance with department protocols
- Maintain a safe MRI environment for patients, staff, and visitors at all times
- Work independently within the department with Radiologist availability for consultation
- Document and manage patient information using Meditech EMR
- Participate in on-call coverage and holiday rotation in accordance with facility policy
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
- Ability to work independently in an MRI department setting
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent patient care while maintaining MRI environmental safety
- Strong communication skills, both in person and by phone
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification in MRI (or equivalent)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Ability to adapt imaging protocols based on individual patient or physician needs
- Willingness to learn new procedures through onsite and virtual training applications
- Experience with GE MRI platforms and familiarity with advanced sequences
