Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Start times between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM as needed | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a high-volume operating room environment averaging 20–28 patients daily across 17 rooms
• Support and perform scrub and/or circulating duties in complex surgical cases including Hepatobiliary, Whipple, Abdominal Organ Transplant, Spine, ENT, and Neurosurgery procedures
• Float within service line and skill set level to meet facility staffing needs
• Participate in on-call responsibilities after shift until 6:30 AM, including possible weekend call; average on-call commitment is approximately one 12-hour weekday call shift and one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shift per 6-week schedule
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and continuity of care throughout all phases of the perioperative process

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or a qualifying compact state (pending Missouri license accepted at time of submittal; Illinois license must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Extensive experience in Hepatobiliary, Whipple, and Abdominal Organ Transplant procedures required
• Proficiency in complex Spine, ENT, Neuro, and intra-abdominal transplant cases required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required by compliance hard document deadline
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travel nurses considered with demonstrated experience in Neuro, Spine, or ENT specialties
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Experience in a large acute care or teaching hospital environment
