Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Variable Call Schedule | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct 1:1 perioperative nursing care to patients across 7 OR suites
- Perform and assist with a variety of surgical procedures including robotics (GYN, urology, general), cystoscopy, breast procedures, knee scopes, and total joints
- Operate and adapt to a variety of specialty-specific surgical equipment
- Participate in a variable call schedule in accordance with facility policy
- Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with permanent staff
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Demonstrated OR experience in GYN, Urology, General Surgery, Robotics, and Orthopedics
- Ability and willingness to take call as required
- Experience with Meditech EMR or comparable electronic medical records system
- Ability to maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a fast-paced surgical environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures (GYN, urology, and general)
- Prior travel nursing experience in an OR setting
- Team-oriented and flexible approach to scheduling and case assignments
