Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to acutely ill adult patients in a Medical Surgical setting
- Care for patients requiring both emergent and elective surgical procedures
- Deliver high standards of professional nursing care in collaboration with nurse assistants and interdisciplinary team members
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) - Healthcare Provider level required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing
- Experience caring for acutely ill adult and surgical patient populations
