Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Title

• Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel Intermittent Staff)

Location

• Miami, FL

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Days shifts, 12.5 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and arrange surgical equipment for procedures.
• Assist surgeons during surgeries, ensuring sterile techniques are maintained.
• Inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical instruments and equipment.
• Keep accurate inventory records and perform pre- and post-surgical equipment repairs.
• Transport patients, shave, dress wounds, and apply dressings as needed.
• Maintain documentation of procedures using Meditech system and adhere to hospital protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute hospital OR setting.
• Strong experience with orthopedic, neuro, and robotics surgeries.
• Willingness to float to general OR if needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Robotics/Da Vinci surgical systems.
• Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments and work independently.
• Previous travel or flexible staffing experience preferred.
