Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care for adults and geriatric populations with a variety of solid tumor cancers, including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, ensuring patient safety and effective communication with the healthcare team.
• Assist with chemotherapy administration and other oncologic treatments in a fast-paced unit.
• Follow strict infection prevention protocols and implement fall prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient treatment plans from diagnosis through end-of-life care.
• Document patient progress and treatment details accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC).

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio (OH) or compact state RN license in hand at time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• BLS certification required; ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred.
• Experience interpreting telemetry monitoring is essential.
• Strong knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and oncology nursing practices.
• Ability to self-schedule and adapt to unit needs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred.
• Skills in computerized charting and familiarity with EPIC platform.
• Experience caring for patients with solid tumor cancers across the treatment spectrum.
