Key Responsibilities

  • Transport patients and assist with their movement within the surgical units
  • Clean and turn over surgical rooms to prepare for subsequent procedures
  • Lift heavy items as required to support surgical teams
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards in all assigned tasks
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow during night shift

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • BLS certification
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid Ohio license (compact licenses accepted for starts from 01/01/2023 onward)
  • Ability to lift heavy items and transport patients safely
  • Active ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate certifications, with acceptable scores on assessments during orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • 18 months of combined permanent experience in surgical or related specialty, ideally within a single location
  • Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical environment
