Contract | Night Shift | 5x8 Hours (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely throughout the surgical services department
• Clean and turn over operating rooms between surgical cases
• Lift and move heavy items as required to support surgical operations
• Support surgical services staff in maintaining an efficient and safe environment
• Complete required orientation on day shift during the first three weeks of assignment to become familiar with the unit

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in a surgical services specialty
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — no pending renewals accepted
• High school diploma or GED required
• Active, permanent Ohio state license in hand at time of submission (compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward)
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the applying specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months
• Must pass required facility assessments (ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate) during orientation; maximum of two attempts permitted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare or clinical setting
• Experience within a single facility or location for the required specialty tenure
