Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, days shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care in the Operating Room, utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments based on established protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication administration, and care provided accurately.
• Assess and address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to care team members to manage clinical situations effectively.
• Develop and implement long-range plans to support patient recovery and well-being.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a related specialty preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in operating room or surgical nursing preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex clinical situations.
