Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist – Angio IR

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Four 10-Hour Shifts with On-Call Requirement | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with Interventional Radiology and Angiography procedures including Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TAVR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma cases
- Operate specialized equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream in a multi-lab environment consisting of two dedicated IR labs and one Hybrid OR
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio while functioning within 3–4 person team staffing models alongside RNs and Lead Techs
- Manage critical care drip (GTT) administration as required by patient acuity and unit protocols
- Document procedures and patient information accurately using EPIC Cupid
- Participate in on-call rotation in support of a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center patient population
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Angiography / Interventional Radiology experience, including stroke and trauma care
- Critical care experience with demonstrated GTT management skills
- Active ARRT (RTR) certification or RCIS credential
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency with EPIC Cupid or comparable documentation systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior ICU or Emergency Department experience in a high-acuity setting
- Experience working in a hybrid OR or multi-lab interventional environment
- Familiarity with advanced IR procedures including TIPS, EVAR, and TAVR
