Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of the women’s health section of radiology, ensuring efficient workflow and quality patient care.
- Conduct mammography imaging procedures adhering to all regulatory guidelines and departmental protocols.
- Maintain accurate records for accreditation, audits, and inspections; ensure timely completion of all documentation.
- Perform QA and preventative maintenance on imaging equipment; troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, verify medical history, obtain informed consent, and ensure all paperwork is complete prior to interpretation.
- Support department staff with cross-training, clerical duties, and supply management as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Successful completion of background check, pre-employment drug screen, and Employee Health requirements.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Two or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with familiarity in CT, MRI, or DEXA modalities.
- Experience working with electronic records, including PACS and RIS/HIS systems.
- Cross-training in multiple imaging modalities preferred.
