Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (0700–1730) | 40 hours per week | 12-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulating RN duties across a variety of surgical specialties within the Operating Room
• Provide scrub support as needed across assigned cases
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and patient management throughout the shift
• Participate in holiday and weekend coverage on a rotating and as-needed basis
• Adhere to on-call and procedural scheduling requirements to maintain case flow and address emergent cases
• Float across surgical specialties as needed, excluding cardiac surgery

Required Qualifications

• Active Delaware RN license or valid Compact RN license required prior to submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience; no exceptions
• Circulating experience required
• Recent EPIC experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous travel nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub technician or scrub RN experience preferred
• Experience covering a broad range of surgical specialties preferred
