Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing neuro-interventional procedures, including neuro-angiograms and other special procedures
• Administer procedural sedation, including fentanyl and versed, in accordance with facility protocols
• Manage a 1:1 patient ratio across a range of acuity levels, from outpatient to critical ICU patients
• Participate in on-call rotation: weeknight call coverage (16:00–07:30) scheduled every one to two weeks, and weekend call (Friday 16:00 through Monday 07:30) twice per 13-week assignment
• Be available to remain past the end of scheduled shift on a designated day approximately once per week to ensure procedure completion ("Backup" expectation)
• Work every fifth or sixth Saturday (08:00–16:00) as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (MO or compact license required; compact must match permanent residence)
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology or related procedural nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required by compliance deadline
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements as outlined in the schedule
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility location

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience
• Experience with neuro-interventional patient populations and various neurological diagnoses
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
