Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures

• Full-time, Days, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care support for neuro-interventional procedures, including neuro-angiograms and procedural sedation.
• Administer medications such as fentanyl and versed according to protocols.
• Support a diverse patient population, ranging from outpatients to ICU patients, in a high-acuity environment.
• Contribute to procedure prep and post-care in the interventional radiology suite.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing after-hours support as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri (MO) or a compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a procedural or radiology setting.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required at start.
• Ability to work scheduled on-call shifts, including weeknights and weekends.
• Flexibility to stay past scheduled shifts when procedures are ongoing (“Backup” duty).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse or leadership experience.
• Experience with neuro-interventional procedures and sedation.
• Knowledge of EPIC charting system.
• Prior work in a Level 1 Trauma or teaching hospital environment.
