Job Title

• Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory / Electrophysiology Technician

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Dayshift, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Assist during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures, including scrub and circulate roles in IR and cardiac labs.
• Support providers with complex procedures involving pacemakers, ICDs, and other implants.
• Prepare and operate specialized equipment such as GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Angio Jet, Impella, and SonoSite ultrasound units.
• Participate in emergency procedures, respond to callbacks within 30 minutes for STEMI cases, and provide emergent support for IR procedures.
• Follow departmental protocols for patient care, medication administration (performed by RN), and equipment handling.
• Adhere to schedule requirements, including weekend rotations and holiday coverage, without holiday RTO restrictions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in cardiac cath labs or electrophysiology units.
• IR experience with proficiency in scrub, circulate, and telemetry duties.
• Certification in ACLS, BCLS, and ARRT or RCISP.
• Must have experience with EKG lead placement.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment handling urgent and emergent cases.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced ARRT certification or RCES/RCIS with med experience.
• Experience with specialized equipment such as Inari, CSI Atherectomy System, and Radiofrequency Ablation Units.
• Knowledge of PPM and ICD device management.
