Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

• Winston-Salem, NC

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a fast-paced medical-surgical and telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including cardiac rhythms and other vital signs.
• Administer medications, IV starts, and perform specialized procedures as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Complete patient documentation accurately in electronic health records systems.
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing needs, adhering to facility guidelines.

Required Qualifications
• Valid NC or Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in a traveler setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start.
• Experience with IV starts and telemetry preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Telemetry experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR systems.
• Willingness to float within the facility as required.

Additional Notes
• No RTO allowed after booking; all RTO requests must be pre-approved and cannot be made after signing.
• Night shift schedule, working 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement.
• Must complete 36 hours of unit orientation prior to start.
• Travel candidates must be open to floating and meet compliance requirements within 48 hours of sign-on.
