Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with potential to float to other units caring for the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations
• Rotate holiday coverage as required by facility scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license – permanent Ohio license or Compact license in hand at time of submission required
• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of specialty experience obtained within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm interpretation and medication safety assessment tools
