Key Responsibilities

• Assesses and treats neuromusculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems to maintain or restore function impaired by injury or disease.
• Develops, implements, and monitors individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Performs evaluations, including chart review and objective measurements, to establish treatment goals aligned with referral physician directives.
• Administers modalities such as therapeutic exercises, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and mobility training, monitoring patient tolerance.
• Communicates treatment progress and recommends adjustments to physicians as appropriate.
• Supervises physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation assistants during treatment sessions.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure
• BLS certification from AHA
• Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy
• Demonstrated competence in assessment, decision-making, and time management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in outpatient therapy settings
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize effectively

• Shift: 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM (7.5 hours per shift)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Projected End Date: 10/11/2026
• Worksite: 2968 Rodeo Park Drive West, Santa Fe, NM
• Compensation: $92/hour
• Position Type: Travel / Temporary replacement for staff turnover
