Sterile Processing Technician

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 5x8-hour shifts, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday with holiday rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap of surgical instruments and equipment
- Support surgical services across a high-volume Level I Trauma Center environment
- Handle a variety of case types including Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential assignment to alternate campuses
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Sterile Processing Technician experience required
- Level I Trauma Center experience required
- Hands-on experience in sterilization, decontamination, and instrument assembly/wrapping
- Active CBSPD and/or HSPA national certification required
- First-time travelers not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Orthopedic, Transplant, and/or GYN surgical cases
- Familiarity with large teaching or Magnet-designated facility environments
