Sterile Processing Technician

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 5x8-hour shifts, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday with holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap of surgical instruments and equipment
  • Support surgical services across a high-volume Level I Trauma Center environment
  • Handle a variety of case types including Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
  • Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential assignment to alternate campuses

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of Sterile Processing Technician experience required
  • Level I Trauma Center experience required
  • Hands-on experience in sterilization, decontamination, and instrument assembly/wrapping
  • Active CBSPD and/or HSPA national certification required
  • First-time travelers not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Orthopedic, Transplant, and/or GYN surgical cases
  • Familiarity with large teaching or Magnet-designated facility environments
