Contract (Temp-to-Hire) | Days | 5x8-hour shifts, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | Rotating weekends and holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, assembly, wrapping, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment
• Support sterile processing operations across surgical services in a Level I Trauma Center environment
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential assignment to alternate campuses or departments
• Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Adhere to inclement weather team assignments and emergency response protocols as directed by management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of sterile processing technician experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Demonstrated experience in sterilization, decontamination, and instrument assembly/wrapping
• Active CBSPD and/or HSPA national certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience supporting a variety of surgical specialties including Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Orthopedics, Transplant, and GYN
• Familiarity with high-volume, teaching hospital or Magnet-designated facility environments
