Job Title

• Registered Nurse - CVOR (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Days shifts, 5 days per week, 8.5-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for cardiovascular surgery patients in a high-acuity unit.
• Perform procedures including large-bore IV starts, arterial, central lines, and epidural placements.
• Assist with patient transport to the operating room, induction, intubation, positioning, and skin preparation.
• Monitor and document patient status using GE Carescape monitoring equipment within Cerner system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety standards.
• Adhere to hospital policies, maintain certification compliance, and ensure patient experience excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years critical care or surgical recovery experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Strong critical thinking and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with BCMA and electronic documentation systems.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience.
• Experience with MediTech or similar documentation systems.
• Ability to handle complex patient procedures with confidence.
