Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
- Complete required pre-start onboarding modules prior to assignment start
- Work some holidays and weekends as required by unit scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in South Carolina (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Weekend availability required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify at travel rate
- Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 5 years before returning as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
- Prior PCU or progressive care nursing experience
