Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–6
• Deliver care within a Primary Stroke Center and support STEMI patient management protocols
• Provide nursing care within two locked Behavioral Health units in the ED, supported by a dedicated security team, at a ratio of 1:6
• Work within rapid evaluation units designed for urgent care and critical care needs, including rapid medical screenings
• Float within the hospital within scope of practice as needed
• Complete required onboarding modules virtually on the first day of contract and annually as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact license valid at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to float within the hospital within scope of practice
• References required prior to submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Primary Stroke Center or STEMI-capable facility
• Familiarity with Behavioral Health patient care within an emergency department environment
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
