Job Title

  • Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (EP Experience Required)

Schedule / Job Type

  • Full-time, days, 4 days per week, 10.5 hours per shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures by preparing the lab and operating essential imaging and equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital image acquisition.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, hemodynamic measurements, and ECG recordings during procedures.
  • Maintain strict aseptic technique and adhere to patient safety standards.
  • Collaborate with medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency.
  • Support radiation safety protocols and act as a radiation safety representative during X-ray usage.
  • Assist in setup, operation, and troubleshooting of specialized cath lab equipment such as ultrasound, intra-aortic balloon pump, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, and ventricular assist devices.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, healthcare-related associate’s degree, or equivalent.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA).
  • Electrophysiology experience is mandatory.
  • State licensure as required by Texas (MRT or LMRT).
  • Certification in invasive cardiology or related modalities preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in an acute care or cath lab setting.
  • Certifications such as RCIS, RCES, RCS, RCVT, or other relevant specialties.
  • Familiarity with advanced cath lab imaging and hemodynamic systems.
