Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and care for pre-operative patients, including skin preparation and positioning.
• Maintain sterile field, pass instruments and supplies, and assist surgeons during procedures.
• Ensure all surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment are sterilized and ready for use.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
• Transport patients to and from the operating room and provide support throughout the surgical process.
• Monitor and care for biological specimens as required.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting.
• CVOR experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neurosurgery experience of at least 2 years.
• Strong orthopedics and trauma experience.
• Experience in general, orthopedic, plastics, urology, ENT, and vascular surgery.
