Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours/Week | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as part of a Medical Surgical Float Pool, rotating across multiple med-surg floors within the facility
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care during night shift hours in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Adapt to varying patient ratios depending on the unit assigned during each shift
- Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling and required holiday rotation
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
- Contribute to emergency response efforts as required, including potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact State RN License (South Carolina license must be active prior to start date)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Proficiency or ability to work with EPIC charting system
- Ability to float to multiple med-surg units within the facility as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, or Magnet-designated hospital
- Prior travel nursing experience in a float pool or multi-unit setting
- Familiarity with block scheduling in a hospital environment
