Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room

Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM) | Rotating weekends | On-call required (up to 2 call shifts per month, 7a–7p or 7p–7a Saturday or Sunday) | Holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist across a full range of surgical specialties including Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (craniotomy, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN
• Operate within a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center environment across 21 OR suites
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage across like units as required
• Participate in on-call shifts and rotating weekend coverage as assigned
• Utilize EPIC for surgical charting and documentation
• Adhere to all facility protocols including radiation safety requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Active NBSTSA certification required (NCCT not accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Neuro cases including spines and craniotomies
• Experience with ENT flap procedures
• Robotic surgery experience, specifically with the Da Vinci Xi system
