Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekend availability required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2 in accordance with unit standards
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
- Float between like units within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by unit needs
- Adhere to holiday coverage requirements, including availability for major holidays
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid Registered Nurse license in the state of California (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Willingness to float between sister facilities as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
- Familiarity with acute care hospital environments and associated protocols
- Ability to adapt to varying unit needs and block scheduling arrangements at manager discretion
