Travel RN – ICU (Night Shift / 13-Week Contract)

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (5:00 PM – 5:30 AM) | 13 Weeks | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed ICU setting with a general patient ratio of 2:1
- Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilator support, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced critical care interventions
- Perform and assist with procedures including central line placement, intubation, chest tube management, and thoracentesis
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including vents, pumps, Swan-Ganz catheters, CRRT, and balloon pumps/impellas as needed
- Accurately document patient care and assessments using Meditech EMR
- Float to IMC/PCU as needed and participate in every-other-weekend rotation
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (must meet state requirements)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency with hemodynamics, CRRT, ICP/EVD monitoring, ventilator management, and proning
- Experience with pressure drip management and Train-of-4 monitoring
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR charting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Nitric Oxide administration, Swan-Ganz catheters, hemodialysis, pacemakers, and TPN/PPN management
- Prior travel nursing experience in a critical care environment
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced ICU setting
