Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to designated units as operationally needed to care for the same patient population
• Participate in holiday rotation coverage as required by facility scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry specialty
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition assessments and medication safety evaluations
