Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Fredericksburg, TX
Schedule / Job Type: 13-week travel contract, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to telemetry and post-op patients in a Med-Surg setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to abnormal rhythms or patient issues
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Perform patient assessments, document findings accurately in the EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
• Assist with procedures such as IV starts, wound care, and patient discharge processes

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or other compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Telemetry experience with patient care in a hospital setting
• Postoperative care experience is required

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• 2+ years of nursing experience
• PALS and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and complex patient management
