Contract | Days or Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day Shift: 7:00–19:30 | Night Shift: 19:00–7:30 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients across the full spectrum of solid tumor oncology, including new diagnosis, active treatment, and end-of-life transition
• Manage patients with common oncology diagnoses including breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers, as well as patients receiving antineoplastic chemotherapy
• Perform telemetry interpretation and monitoring in a Med/Surg Oncology setting
• Adhere to strict infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention measures
• Document patient care accurately using computerized charting (EPIC)
• Float to other Med/Surg Oncology units as needed based on staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – valid compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and monitoring
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience strongly preferred
• ONS Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
