Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 12-Hour Shifts | Rotating Weekends | On-Call: One 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift per week; One Sunday every six weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an acute dialysis setting across multiple facility locations
- Operate and manage dialysis equipment including Tablo, Prismax, and Amia machines
- Perform and oversee Intermittent Hemodialysis (IHD), Peritoneal Dialysis (PD), and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech EMR
- Manage patient ratios of 2:1 in multiroom settings and 1:1 at bedside locations
- Participate in rotating on-call and weekend coverage as required by unit scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of acute dialysis experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in IHD, PD, and CRRT modalities
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends and on-call obligations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a multi-facility or travel nursing capacity
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
- Flexible, adaptable personality well-suited to dynamic, census-driven staffing environments
