Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Onsite | Weekend Days – Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: August 3, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Observation unit throughout a 12-hour day shift
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate safe and effective patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record
- Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards throughout all aspects of care delivery
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Tennessee or a compact state
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work a weekend-only schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
- Compliance with all facility health screening and onboarding requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Observation unit setting
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with HCA-affiliated facility systems and workflows
