Travel Occupational Therapist (OT)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in an inpatient or acute care setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' functional abilities and independence
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in the state of Tennessee
• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current NBCOT certification
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel therapy experience
• Experience in an acute care or hospital-based occupational therapy setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
