Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 8-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced adult Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Document patient information accurately using the Meditech electronic health records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Respond to call requirements as needed per unit policy
• Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License required – temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room specialty experience
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system strongly preferred
• Familiarity with high-volume adult emergency department environments
