Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities; establish diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention strategies
- Design, implement, and modify individualized therapeutic treatment plans to reduce impairments and restore patients' ability to perform daily activities
- Promote injury prevention, overall health, fitness, and wellness across all patient age groups
- Collaborate with colleagues and engage in community education and contributions to physical therapy research
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records including physician orders, diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, attendance, and discharge summaries; ensure timely charge submission
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Pelvic Health physical therapy
- Pelvic Health Certification required
- Graduate of an AMA-APTA approved school of physical therapy
- Active Physical Therapist license for the state of Colorado, or a permit from the licensing board while awaiting licensure examination
- Current CPR Certification
- Member or eligible for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association or American Registry of Physical Therapy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an outpatient clinic setting
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary patient care team
