Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM | On-Call: Approximately 1 week every 2 months | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting, supporting a range of cardiac procedures
- Assist with procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, and conduction studies
- Support pacemaker and defibrillator lead extraction/removal, pacemaker insertion, and AICD insertion/programming
- Assist with Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure, cardiac implant closure devices, and arrhythmia induction
- Perform baseline measurements and participate in all phases of EP lab case management
- Adhere to unit protocols, compliance deadlines, and credentialing requirements in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license (compact or state-specific license required and must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum of 2 years of Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Ability to complete state fingerprinting requirements promptly upon contract signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are accepted)
- Familiarity with a high-volume academic or teaching hospital EP lab environment
