Interventional Radiology Technologist – IR/Special Procedures

Port St. Lucie, FL
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Interventional Radiology procedures including vascular and neuro-interventional cases
- Assist with neuro procedures including stroke thrombectomies
- Support the IR/Special Procedures team during day shift operations
- Complete required facility orientation modules pre-start and annually as assigned
- Participate in EKG and pharmacology assessments during orientation
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of hands-on experience in Interventional Radiology
- Demonstrated experience in IR, vascular, and neuro procedures, including stroke thrombectomies
- Active, unrestricted radiologic technologist license with no license violations or hits
- Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine (nicotine) is required within 12 months of start date
- All certifications must be current and active — no pending certifications accepted
- Must pass EKG and pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum; no remediation)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of Interventional Radiology experience
- Prior travel technologist experience preferred; first-time travelers are also welcome to apply
